The demolition phase generally does not take place prior to signing your builder, approving plans & having a timeline in place.2
Council Approval for building
(Some builders will include demolition in their Development Application) Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from your local council can take some time, we recommend this step prior to reaching out to us.3
Demolition Quotation & acceptance
Clients will receive a detailed quotation that outlines the scope of works once one of our friendly estimators has visited site. Once accepted, the demolition project proceeds.4
Complying Development Certificate
If the demolition of your property was not included in the Development Application (DA), our team can prepare and lodge a Complying Development Certificate on behalf of our clients, ensuring a stress free experience for our clients.5
Safework Notifications
Safety is paramount. Special attention is given to identifying and handling asbestos prior to works commencing. All necessary notifications are made to the relevant authorities.6
Notify immediate neighbour properties
In the interest of safety and maintaining good relationships with neighbours, advance notice is given to adjacent properties about the upcoming demolition. This proactive approach helps address any concerns and ensures a smooth process.7
Site set up & Salvage
Before the demolition commences, the site is professional prepared. This includes installing secure fencing, providing portable facilities, and organising waste bin delivery. This is an excellent time to attend site & source salvageable items. Our aim is to reduce as much waste from landfill as possible.8
Start date
On the agreed upon start date, our experience team initiates the demolition process with utmost care & adhering to strict safety procedures. Our team will liaise with our recyclers to plan collection of salvage items for their new homes.9
Progress updates to clients
Throughout the demolition, clients will receive regular updates on the progress of the project. Open communication is maintained to address any concerns or queries promptly. We believe the demolition process can be an exciting part of our clients journey & want to give them a great experience.10
Completion
Once the demolition work is finished, the site is thoroughly inspected to ensure it is ready for handover. Debris is cleared, and the area is prepared for future construction. Our site fence is removed & the site is left neat & tidy.11
Final paperwork issued to client
An independent licensed asbestos assessor clearance report will be provided, as well as a demolition complete document which includes any service disconnections & relevant dates required for builders to reference.12
